Poetry for Healing is a transformative writing experience that helps women heal from the inside out. It is not just a workshop for writers or poets, but for all women. In this workshop you will learn how to stand in your truth, find your inner medicine, and process your emotions by channeling them through your art. You will learn a process for writing that is not guided by rules or conventions, but by spirit. Therapeutic poetry is energizing. Cathartic. Inspiring. It creates a bridge between your head and your heart, and allows you to access your emotions and channel them into art. Most people seek to deepen their spirituality and consciousness, but struggle to find practices that can help them truly access their inner wisdom. Meditation, mindfulness, and journaling don’t work for everyone, and often don’t go deep enough. Here, you will learn transformative spiritual lessons and feminine empowerment taught within a container of creative awakening. Included within the workshop is reflective writing and journaling, poetry/spoken word writing time and group sharing.
